TechRadar’s Aaron Brueckner writes: The iPad Air has arrived and the new iPad is a big step up in terms of specs and features.
While it’s still a little too expensive for some, the new model is still one of the best iPad models of 2017.
The iPad mini is also a great value.

That’s good news for those looking to purchase one of these devices.
The mini has a 2.1GHz Quad-core processor, 4GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
You’ll get an 8-inch Retina display, but it’s not as good as the new mini.
Apple’s updated Air is a bigger iPad, but its price tag is still $499.
It’s also a little heavier than the new Air.
We recommend the iPad Mini.

iPad mini 2: A lot cheaper?
It’s not clear yet how much cheaper the iPad 2 will be, but we’d guess it will be significantly cheaper than the mini.
The new iPad mini comes in at $299, down from $399, and comes with 128GB of storage, as well as a 4-inch screen.
It has the same processor as the iPad minis, but the iPad has 2GB of DDR3 RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.
The same-sized iPad mini also has a better battery life than the smaller mini.
